In the Navy

Happy Friday Eve!! When talking about finding some red white and blue inspired outfits Chad pointed out to me that I don't really wear red all the much.  I guess I've just always gravitated towards the pinks over the reds :) But what I did find is that I have A LOT of navy! I'm pretty sure navy blue is my favorite neutral to wear so for today's post I've found some of my favorite navy pieces to share with you! I think I'm also going to make a concentrated effort to work more red pieces into my wardrobe!

This top is from Belk, it's one of their house brand's Crown and Ivy.  Just about everything they put out in this line I want to buy! They always have fun details like this gingham ruffle.  It's almost like a Lilly, Vineyard Vines hybrid with some classic Talbots sprinkled in!

Of course my Lilly for Target jumpsuit made the cut of my favorite navy pieces! It's just too fun not to have on this list!

OK so this top isn't exactly navy but it is patriotic and shows support to Chad's favorite past time! The boy loves sports in general but the US Mens National Team is by far his favorite team! He lives and breathes soccer, and since he is such a good instagram husband I try to be a good soccer wife :)

I found this top at a little boutique last summer and fell in love with it immediately! It has such a flattering empire waist and the material feels so good! I accidentally shrunk in the washer last summer but it still fits well it just got a little short so I tend to layer it with longer tanks :) This is a top that I reach for all year long, I wear it with shorts in the summer and dark jeans and cardigan in the cooler months!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! We still don't have any plans for the weekend yet but I'm determined to find us some fireworks!!!
